Want to observe Gas Nebulae, planets, and the moon's surface up close? Join us for a Stargazing Evening at Sonnenborgh! Gaze through our big telescopes and enjoy a mini-lecture about celestial phenomena. Cloudy weather? No problem! We’ll take you on a journey through the universe in our planetarium.
Stargazing nights are every weekend from October until April. Every last Friday of the month, the event will be in English. The other nights (the rest of the stargazing nights on Friday, as well as the stargazing nights for children on Saturday) are in Dutch.
Opening hours
The doors open at 19:30, and the program will start at 19:45. We advise you to be at the museum by the time the program starts. This way you’ll have enough time for all the activities. The evening will conclude at 21:45.
Tickets are non-refundable. In case of cloudy weather, the stargazing night will proceed with an interesting, alternative program.
